The Human Rights Commission invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Manager – Finance and Administration. Reporting to the Executive Officer, this role is responsible for supporting the effective operation of the Commission’s finance, administration, governance, and executive support functions.

About the Role

This position plays a key role in ensuring the Commission’s financial, administrative, and operational activities are managed efficiently, professionally, and in compliance with statutory and public-sector requirements. Responsibilities include financial administration, procurement, records and information management, human resources administration, executive support, and coordination of key statutory functions.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in accounting or financial administration.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and high ethical standards.
